• Fan can follow all of the World Championship matches on Trackwrestling.com. There is a seven-hour time difference between Paris and New York City. That means early-round matches will begin at 3 a.m. (EDT) with medal matches beginning at noon (EDT).

• The average ages of the three American teams are 23.8 (men’s freestyle), 25.8 Greco-Roman, and 23.1 (women’s freestyle). In 2005, the average ages of those teams were 29.4, 29.3, and 26.7, respectively,

• The American record for most gold medals at a Worlds was five in 1995 (four in men’s freestyle and one Greco).
