Goodpaster Training Technique: Whizzer Rotations will help you win tie-ups

The Whizzer is a defensive technique that usually is used to counter a lower-body takedown. A wrestler can use the whizzer to quickly gain control of their opponent and score an easy two points.
Whizzer Rotations help develop specific rotational strength and power. Rotating in a standing position allows any wrestler to develop balance and core strength he needs to dominate his opponent during whizzer tie ups. Perform this exercise to both sides for the designated number of repetitions (e.g. 10-20).
Notice how wrestler Alec Logsdon focuses on driving his shoulder down in a rotational diagonal pattern.
