The majority of the Senior men’s and women’s freestyle World Team spots will be solidified this Saturday, June 14, at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. at Final X.

Nineteen athletes, nine in Senior men’s freestyle and another 10 in Senior women’s freestyle, will be crowned Final X champions and thus, United States World Team members. The 10th matchup in men’s freestyle at 61 kg between Vito Arujau and Jax Forrest has been postponed until July in Fargo. Meanwhile, 2024 Olympic gold medalist Amit Elor withdrew from Final X for medical reasons.

When it is all said and done, the 20 elite wrestlers who earn World Team spots will represent the U.S. at the 2025 Senior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, in September.
