Notes on 2014 NAIA National Duals

• Grand View College, which became a varsity program in 2008-09, has won the last two NAIA traditional national tournaments. Both of those championships happened in Des Moines, the hometown of the Vikings. Grand View’s only loss was to Division I Iowa State, 22-18.

• Among duals held this season between highly-ranked NAIA schools, Grand View defeated Great Falls, 33-6, at the Desert Duals in Las Vegas, Dec. 21. Meanwhile, Montana State Northern defeated Southern Oregon — last year’s NAIA national runner-up — 36-12.
