The T-Stabilization push-up is a great exercise that simultaneously develops strength and flexibility.  This kind of strength and flexibility is needed to survive many wrestling positions, such as arm bars and posting.

• Focus on straight alignment through the heels, knees, hips, spine, and neck through the entire movement

• Keep core tight

• Focus on pushing the ground away, keeping a big chest.  This helps to keep the shoulders stabilized

• Perform 3 Sets of 10-20 Reps

Demonstrating this exercise is Scott Goodpaster, CSCS, the Director of Cincinnati Functional Fitness. Goodpaster is an MMA Certified Strength & Conditioning coach and nationally recognized in the field of strength & conditioning for wrestlers.
