ESPN3.com to webcast medal matches, finals at 2011 World Championships

ESPN3.com, also known as WatchESPN.com, will be webcasting the championship finals and bronze medal matches from each day of the 2011 Wrestling World Championships from Istanbul, Turkey from Sept. 12-18.

This is the second time in history any part of the championships have been streamed by the ESPN family of networks. In 2007, ESPN3, then known as ESPN360, streamed the championship finals and medal matches.

The feeds are being provided to ESPN from Turkish television. Each day, the championship broadcasts will start streaming 30 minutes prior to the start of the medal rounds.

This will be in addition to the live audio webcast USA Wrestling is providing on TheMat.com, TheMat.TV and Ustream.TV.
